“People Person” Obama:
Iraq
“So when I am Commander-in-Chief, I will set a new goal on day one: I will end this war.” —Barack Obama, Clinton, Fayetteville, North Carolina, March 19, 2008
Healthcare
“If you are one of the 45 million Americans who don’t have health insurance, you will have it after this plan becomes law. No one will be turned away because of a preexisting condition or illness.” — Barack Obama, Speech in Iowa City, IA, May 29, 2007
Immigration
“Where we can bring in more foreign-born workers with the skills our economy needs, we should” — Barack Obama, Statement on U.S. Senate Floor, May 23, 2007
Economy
“If Washington were serious about honest tax relief in this country, we’d see an effort to reduce our national debt by returning to responsible fiscal policies.” — Barack Obama, Speech in the U.S. Senate, March 13, 2006
The Real Obama:
Iraq
Obama is ready to alleviate half of the troops in Iraq. He plans to take those troops and place them in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Yep, the Obaminator doesn’t want to bring troops home, he wants to thin them out so that there is less of a presence in each country and more U.S. casualties.
Healthcare
In Obama’s mind, the term healthcare will be “changed” to “Socialized Medicine.” People will no longer be able to choose which healthcare system suits them best, they will be given one. In fact, if Obama goes through with his unrealistic plan, the gap between the “state-insured” and private insured will be far worse than the gap between the insured and non-insured. Doctors will choose those with better insurance policies over those with state insurance, resulting in more barriers than ever before.
Immigration
Obama, the man who is so keen on helping the nearly 8.5 million “unemployed” Americans on finding a job, would rather that job go to a foreign worker. Sure it’s nice to bring in skilled foreign workers but why not try to tap into the nearly 9 million Americans that don’t have a job before you outsource to another country.
Economy
An artificial conversation between Obama and Average Joe:
Joe: Senator Obama, I live in New Jersey, my income is $175,000 dollars a year, I have the highest property taxes in the country and I have a wife and four children that I need to provide for, How will you help me?.
Obama: Well Joe, I’m sorry but you make way too much money for a man with 4 children and a wife.
Joe: But Senator, my children would like to attend college and I work 90-hour weeks, I work very hard for my money
Obama: That may be true but there are millions of Americans who don’t do a damned thing and they need money also. You see Joe, you are what I consider “middle class.” You’re not good enough to be upper class so I believe you should really be lower class.
Joe: How on earth does that make sense?
Obama: Look Joe, don’t you want change? Don’t you want to help be a part of something bigger than money? If you don’t pay higher taxes how will the government make poor people rich and middle class people poor? It’s the government’s job to make sure no one has too much money and no one has too little money, why should one individual be rewarded when another individual is not, kind of like Cuba.
