Construction expansion at Newark International Airport has risen from the proposed $279 million to a whopping $325 million. All in effort to expand ONE lousy terminal. Port Authority officials claimed that the rise was due to higher costs for basic construction necessities.
Isn’t it funny that the new cost of this expansion is mentioned just days after Corzine signed his 2009 budget into law.
I’m afraid it will never end, all of this unnecessary and earmark spending is just out of control.
It’s hard enough to pay just to live in NJ, why won’t the Dems just give us a break.
