After signing a new state budget and promising to stop borrowing money in the name of New Jersey, Corzine is at it again. This time he’s ready to approve almost $4 billion in loans that will just sink NJ into further debt. Corzine should just be honest with New Jerseyans, the problem I have with Jon is that he’s a liar.
Have you ever seen the homeless guys with the signs that read “Why Lie? I Need Beer.” That’s honesty my friends. That homeless guy believes that if he is honest with the people he is working with then he is more likely to get money and approval.
Corzine just needs to be honest with us, instead of running a campaign in 2005 that promised to stop borrowing he should have just held up a sign that read “Why Lie? I Need Bacon.” This loan may be of noble cause since it will be spent on inner city schools that need to be re-built. What Jon doesn’t get is that the people of New Jersey would like him a lot more if he was just honest and informed the people about his plans.
