The public is sick and tired of hearing about Barack Obama. According to a new poll released today by people-press.org, 48% of people in the United States believe they have heard way too much about Barack Obama. Among independents, a staggering 51% say they are sick of hearing about the presumptive Democratic Nominee and nearly 70% of republicans say there is too much Obama. On the other aisle of the spectrum, the study found that only 26% of people have heard too much about John McCain with democrats being the highest percentage of people that have heard too much about the Arizona Senator (35%).
Maybe its time for Obama to take a backseat and cool off the news. He’s wearing out his welcome with the American people, especially among the people that Obama cannot win the race without.
By all means, let McCain have the spotlight. When and if that happens, it would not take long for people to say:
“Hey, wait a sec! Did we actually used to think that OBAMA was the “risky” candidate? This dude McCain sounds like he checked out, mentally, a decade ago.”
“He keeps talking about a country, Czechoslovakia, that hasn’t existed in 10 years. I’m waiting for him to start making references to Prussia and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.”
“He can’t seem to figure out who the hell we’re fighting in Iraq. Are they al Qaeda? Sunni? Shia? Hindus? Buddhists? McCain thinks this is as bad as Vietnam, because you can’t figure out who the enemy is without a uniform.”
“And Achme… Akmed… you know, the crazy dude running Iran? Or is it Iraq? No, no, it’s Iran. McCain says “Bomb ‘em back into the Stone Age!” ”
Yeah… let’s hear a LOT more from McCain!
How did this work out?
It’s already happening. http://www.sickofobama.us
