Arlen Specter switched party affiliation because he believed the Republican primary electorate in Pennsylvania did not fully appreciate his many years of medicore service. Sooooooooooooooooo, new polling shows he is a world of trouble against Democratic Congressmen Joe Sestak. His approval rating has dropped to 34% and only 40% of voters believe he deserves to be re-elected. He leads Sestak 33-13 in primary matchup but an astounding 48% of Democrats remain undecided.
The fact of the matter is that Specter is not viewed as trust worthy by EITHER party. His moderate positions are about as welcome in the Democrat Party as they are in the Republican Party.
