Corzine Continues to Stonewall on Email-Gate

Author: Rory B. Bellows

GOP Chairman Tom Wilson offered the Governor a deal to avoid setting a precedent that could damage executive privilege. Chairman Wilson offered to drop his lawsuit against the Governor to force him to disclose all email communications between the Governor and his staff and Karla Katz, President of CWA Local 1034, in exchange for the Governor voluntarily releasing the emails and paying the $70,000 in legal fees Chairman Wilson incurred during the course of the lawsuit.

Not surpisingly, the answer from the Corzine Administration continued their Nixonian coverup by responding “Thanks, but no thanks.”
