According to a new Quinnipiac Uniersity Poll 52% of residents disapprove of Governor John Corzine.
This poll also contains further bad news as only 39% of the people of New Jersey believe things have gotten worse since Governor Corzine began his term in office. In February of 2007 this number was at 15%. 30% of respondents approve of his handling of the state budget, down from 47% in July of 2006.
Clearly the people of this state have tired of the high taxes, high spending, big government nanny state socialism that have become the trademark of the Corzine Administration. The field is wide open for the GOP to take back the Governor’s Mansion in 2009.
