Will There be Another Democratic Bait and Switch in the 2nd District?

Author: Rory B. Bellows

Democratic Nominee Dadiv Kurkowski claims he is running against Republican Frank LoBiondo in the 2nd Congressional District, but the signs point to another bait and switch by the Democrats. Reports indicate that his website is woefully out of date, interns are told to apply to Arizona, and the site still does not have a page listing his stances on the issues.

Democrats have two candidates who many feel are more appealing than Kurkowski in Cumberland County – Democratic Chair Lou Magazzu and State Senator Jeff Van Drew. This is common practice for Democrats, as Frank Lautenberg replaced scandal-plagued incumbent Bob Torricelli in the 2002 Senate race, and the likely possibility that placeholder candidate Camilla Andrews will be replaced in the first district race later this summer.

Rory, indeed, that the interns have to apply to Arizona is suspicious.
