Palin is the VP; the Conservative Movement Exists

Author: Rory B. Bellows

In the greatest day for the conservative movemnt since Ronald Reagan’s re-election, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is now John McCain’s running mate. It has been twenty years, but we have one of our own on the national stage. We have a real deal rugged individualist, believer in limited government, low taxes and second amendment rights on the ticket.

I wrote previously as to why Palin was the obvious choice so I will not rehash her political benefits, this is for the disaffected conservatives, like myself, who did not plan or were unsure of their support for the Republican ticket. For us, this election is about the future of the Republican Party. You are not supporting John McCain; you are supporting Sarah Palin, a new face for the party and a new champion for the conservative movement, wheather it was in the revolution of 1964 or 1980, that attracted us to the GOP in the first place. Suport Sarah Palin. Support The Movement.

You have to admit that Sarah Palin is pretty hot (remember she was in the Ms. Alaska Pageant) and MUCH BETTER on the eyes than Joe Biden. Oh and wait until you see the bikini pics!!! NOT BAD for a mother of 5.

Whoever is doing her makeup needs to be fired.

In the short term, this was clearly a shot in the dark. The manner in which she was vetted, the manner in which the campaign seemed to be caught flat footed with the media frenzy, tells me the party was acting in desparation. But for the party long term, she could be the one.

I agree with you completely. So refreshing to hear pro-Palin opinion after all the liberal garbage poured all over her in the media.

Oh you crazy conservatives. You always sound like such idiots, it’s so cute.

I totally agree. She has re-energized the Republican party.
