Nancy Pelosi should be tried for treason

Author: Rory B. Bellows

Nancy Pelosi just killed America. She could not deliver the votes in her caucus to pass a bill that will keep everyone’s paycheck from bouncing. The bottom line is she did not need one single Republican vote to pass this bill. She may have wanted it for cover because the polls are running so strong against it, but it would have been leadership to get it done. This is the same lack of leadership she often rails about the Bush Administration for.

Then, when the vote was hanging in the balance, he goes out there and gives some anti-Bush tirade which assured that she would lose whatever little GOP support there was for this bill.

No one likes this bill. I hate it, but it is necessary. The moment it was announced that it failed the markets dropped almost 1000 points. She knew she did not have the votes for this bill and she had to know what was going to happen to the market if it failed. She had no business bringing this bill to the floor if she was unure it was going to pass. An adult would have seen this and brought everyone back to the table to put something together. This was total incompetence on the part of the Democratic Speaker of the House.

What a load of crap. 60% of the Democrats voted for the bil, 33% of Republicans did likewise.

Did the widdle Wepublicans get theiw feelwings hurt by the mean old nasty Speakew? Cuz she said bad bad things against the Pwesident?

The Republicans are blaming this on the Democrats, but what really happened is that 2/3 of the Republicans bailed and voted “no” because they thought it might pass anyway, and that way they could go homw, brag to their Republican core that they voted “no” but they couldn’t stop the Dems from getting it passed.

If enough Republicans had balls and did the right thing, this would be headed to the Senate on Wednesday. Yes, Pelosi didn’t do a great job of leadership, but neither did the Republican leadership in the House. There’s plenty of blame to spread around, so stop making this a political football.

Do you like to hear yourself spew baseless partisan jibberish?
You certainly show all the earmarks with a low-blow by a typical ignorant, arrogant elitist.

Nancy Pelosi has deliberately undermined the President of the United States during a time of war. Pelosi has not acted in best interests of this nation, in fact her anti-Bush tirade was flat out meant to hurt this country that she hates so much. I believe she should be removed as Speaker of the House, tried for treason and hanged.
