Che Obama at it again

Author: Rory B. Bellows

So his tax plan isn’t so bad. He just wants to spread the wealth around. Who could object to the goverment using coercive force to confiscate money one person makes so they can give unearned, unpaid benefits to someone else? Obama is no different than the mugger who says your money or your life. He’s a thief and a looter and in any sane world he would be behind bars.

This is disgusting.

The basic flaw in your logic is that you believe that your success is based ONLY upon your innate abilities. You owe a portion of your success to the society you live in… that’s really what “only in America” means. So what you’re labelling as the “government using coercive force to confiscate money one person makes” really ought to be looked at from an opposing viewpoint.

Taxes are the price you pay to American society that is a fraction of the success you’ve achieved as a result of that American society. It’s a cost of doing business in a business community unlike almost any other.

I know you’re not likely to accept any part of that redefinition, but it’s sheer arrogance to presume that you did it all yourself, the hard way, without any assistance from anybody or anything anywhere along the line.
