We let them back in the country?

Author: Rory B. Bellows

So some members of the congressional black caucus think we need to have a more open policy towards Cuba. Fine. I agree with that. Isolation has not worked and it’s rather silly to tell people where they can and can’t travel to.

What is inexcusable, though, is the seditious behavior exhibited by the members of the CBC on their recent trip to Cuba. There they met with the Castro brothers, and like most Democrats, fawned over a couple of communist thugs. This isn’t surprising. Jimmy Carter is BFF’s with Hugo Chavez. In the 1980s Oretga and his fight to crush the contra freedom fighters in Nicaragua was all the rage on the left.

The D’s are reverting to type cast now that the ballots have been cast. Congressmen Bobby Rush, who once defeated Barack Obama for congress(think about the lefty lunatics that inhabit that district), talked about Castro is reverential tones the former black panther would probably use to describe Huey Newton:

“It was almost like listening to an old friend,” said Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Il.), adding that he found Castro’s home to be modest and Castro’s wife to be particularly hospitable.

“In my household I told Castro he is known as the ultimate survivor,” Rush said.

Tell that to thousands we have been beaten, imprisoned or killed by his old friend.
