He was on fire with scathing attacking on Jon the Taxer and he came across as more conservative than the Zimmer’s, Kean’s and Forrrester’s that the party establishment has forced upon us the last few election cycles.
I think both guys did well keeping to their message: Lonegan that his flat tax will distribute money on a per puplil basis and be a large cut in property taxes. His message was that this will eliminate the power of central planners in Trenton.
Chrisitie kept up the attacks on Lonegan’s tax plan as a massive tax increase and that he is a conservative voice for the Republican Party. he gave a great asnwer on why he opposed universal pre-k.
